Time
Sometimes I find myself,
Way too often,
Contemplating about the past.
How I wished to relive those moments,
even solely for some mere minutes.
But lately,
Way too often,
Time keeps leaking
Through the tips of my fingerprints.
Melting through the cracks of times,
And evaporating into infinity and beyond.
Memories to never be touch ever again,
not by me,
not by the past,
not by anyone.

Growing up is a very scary process for some. Leaving your childhood behind, knowing you will never be able to go back in time to relive those moments. I think that’s what this poem is about, it is about the different complications one must go through as they grow up, as they realize that the past cannot be touched by anyone or anything. It is just a memory that lingers in your mind.
