A Cold Night of May when I met You
A cold night of May when I met you
I could hear your heart beating, if only
you knew
I could not see and my hands are freezing up
But then you touched me with a warmth of love
As the clouds rolled under the moonlit sky
I felt like there was rain
A soft mist filled up my glasses
I could not see a thing
The rain slowly falling, the owls calling
The wolves running in the forest
These sounds make a beat and turn the dark
to light
As we start the raining dance
He took my hand and swayed so close
In the woods where we were
I could not see him but I didn't care
As for he and I are together
Dance all night and leave at sunrise
So we do not see each other
I will dance with you tomorrow
This dancing stranger
