Imminent
President of the United States,
Joe Biden,
Approves the deployment of 3,000 troops,
To Poland, Germany, Romania,
The Pentagon announced Wednesday.
Support to our allies in NATO,
Feeling threatened by Russia’s moves,
Thousands of Russian troops sits on the border to Ukraine,
President Vladmir Putin shows no signs of descalating the situation.
Ukrainian President asks countries to calm the panic,
Many wonder if invasion is imminent,
There are enough troops at the border to take over the country,
What will NATO do,
For now they move troops to neighboring countries and hope.
Biden says Putin knew this was coming,
“It’s totally consistent with what I told Putin from the beginning”
The White House announced they were no longer calling the invasion imminent,
Last week White House Press Secretary, Jen Psaki said: it was just that, imminent.
