The mistaken one
Once upon a time there was a shopping mistake
so small yet so expensive
wondering why people only admire it
and not buy it
sad they can’t hug people like a rain coat can
confused as of why he read his price tag everyday
and could never finish saying the number on it
wishing he could walk out just as happy as the rain boots
on a rainy day with happy shoppers wearing their new boots
sitting alone in the display watching the shaddy sunglasses on someones face
happy man came in and layed eyes right on it
the small yet expensive item cried tears of joy
and gasped at its reflection on the mirror
to see the most brightest smile it has ever made

This poem is about a ring who reads their price tag each day and is dissapointed and upset because no one is interested in it because of its over exaggerated value. Until one day someone comes in and looks right at the ring and buys it and finally the ring recognizes their worth when it sees they're reflection on the mirror.
