Light Through the Darkness

The drip drop drip of light little raindrops fall like leaves when the seasons change

They fall, creating a symphony with each drop

My window sill becomes a river

Flowing down like a waterfall

When the rain finally stops the clouds disappear into a blue sky

The sun appears and says hello

Though the rain has come and gone

There are still puddles, sitting there like a memory

Reminding me that sometimes darkness comes so you can see the light Without the darkness, we could not appreciate the light

The sun shining bright then kisses me goodnight

I go to bed, wondering what wonderful light tomorrow's darkness might bring.
