The Man And The Murmaids
He was a strange man,
A man of many wonders,
The sun beat on the bright beige sand,
There he stayed, in the heart of the equator,
The top of the mans beanie was dancing in the wind,
Every morning he would pray to his mirror,
Hoping to bring him to his sought out paradise,
He placed the fork, jar, mirror, on the sand,
Placing the fork in the jar,
He made circles around the bottom,
Humming and singing,
Tracing is fingers around the mirror,
He closed his eyes,
Pushing his fingers deeper into the mirror,
Humming louder and louder,
All of a sudden the mirror cracked,
There formed a picture of a mermaid,
The man had nothing to lose,
He closed his eyes and jumped into the mirror,
Deep in the abyss, he swam with the mermaids.
