Somedays
Music overtakes my mind
Earbuds practically glued to my head
I want to feel as good as this song sounds
Such a simple melody on the sheet music
It scratches an unknown corner of my mind
Relief and relaxation with a hint of intellectual genius
Listening gives the sense of having a different soul
Envision freely flowing colors, shapes when the note surges
It's ethereal

I wrote this piece because it relates to how I feel about music. I grew up in the music department of my school and it is a big part of my identity. I want others to listen and feel music the way I feel it.
