What Rain Cannot

What rain cannot
love cannot end a country
it cannot change the seasons
but what love cannot
small droplets,
flying from behind the clouds,
can.
rain can end a country
it can start a drought
but what rain cannot
small sparks,
emerging from our hearts,
can.
love can start a friendship
it can grow a tree
but what love cannot,
large droplets,
storming from behind the clouds,
can.
rain cannot save a person
it cannot start a family
but what rain cannot,
a small power in our hearts
can.
