Three Poems
Poem 1: Meditation
Inhale, Exhale
Sitting Cross-Cross in front of a window
My body feels like a feather
My thoughts, adrift
I am one with the world
Inhale, exhale
I transform
Now I see the world for what I want it to be
I create my reality
Inhale, exhale
Poem 2: I am Robot
Alarm rings at 6:00 am everyday
I go to school, go to work,
drained
My mind is set on routine, I don’t even have to think
I check my phone, waste my time
We are like a flock of birds
Following
Moving
blinded to the beauty of life, of peace
We are robot
Poem 3: love
What does it mean to be in love
We thought we knew
Now is see i was wrong
Tears filled my eyes as if smoke blew in my eyes
I am not in love
Stupid love
