The Place Where Life Comes to End
There is a place where life comes to end
And before death will claim the soul
And their breaths grow shallow and cold
And their brightest fires seem dim
And there the warmth of love begins to fade
To into the emptiness of the void
Let us leave this place where only death lives
And the icy peak blows and rises
Past the cap where the snow falls
We shall run with a run that is broken and slowing
And watch where others have faltered
To the place where life comes to end
Yes we will run with a run that is broken and slowing
And we will go where others have faltered
For the fools, they set, and the fools, they know
The place where life comes to end
