A Curse Can Be A Blessing
My soul was born an unspoken curse.
Feeling of never being able to show itself,
Hiding in the shadows of my own mind
Never wanting to come out.
I never really felt like I fit in,
As if I was a rose in a field of daisies.
But in time, my soul started to grow.
Grow from a small drop of an April shower
Into a beautiful May flower.
I found out love is a fragile flower opening to
The warmth of spring.
Allowing others to see it’s beauty not giving a care
In the world.
My soul started to shine in the light of truth,
Realizing it didn’t matter what others think
Or say to you.
What mattered is what you think of yourself
And let it shine through All of the hate and violence
Around the world.
My soul was not, and never will be, an unspoken curse.
My soul was born a bright blessing.

This is a peice about my true self and how I grew from someone who was scared about who I am and was afriaid to show it, but as time went on and I found people who care about me I started to show my true self.
what I hope people see from this poem is that you can shpw your true self and no one will be able to say anything about it. be who you truely are and be proud of it. let your colors shine.
