I wanna live in a forest
The smell of the trees and nature
The songs of chirping, leaves blowing in the wind, random crunches of leaves behind bushes
Secret waterfalls and beautiful rivers
Diversity of wildlife that call that place their home
The forest is a place of comfort
A place where you can truly be at peace
A place where natural beauty resides
Lying down in a soft patch of grass or against a tree
Without a device to distract you
Is truly a dream
I imagine all my worries washing away
All negative thoughts fading
Heart beating happily
As i lay there
No rush or care in the world
Maybe i'm enjoying this moment with someone
Or maybe i'm spending time with myself
Either way i know this is where i am meant to be
A forest
A place where I feel like me.

This poem is inspired by my never ending love for forests and how I would always find peace in knowing that I will be in one, one day.
