Set Piece Metaphor
Life is like a building. A building is only as strong as its foundation. So unless you’ve built yourself a strong foundation, you’re at risk of falling over and breaking. Once a strong foundation is ready, it’s time to build higher and achieve more. Everyone has a foundation and each one is unique. Some buildings may be taller than others, but your building can either be grown or shrunk and it's all up to you. For example, you start learning a new concept, so first, you would start on the basics which would be building the foundation, then you start to take the basic information you learned and take it to the next level which would be adding the floors and levels to finish up your building. Once you’ve finished your building and you think you are ready to move on, you start your next goal and start building.

For this set piece, I decided to use a metaphor. I wanted to write about a metaphor that not only I can relate to, but everyone else can as well. You will notice that I wrote a metaphor, added on to it, and compared it to life. I really liked this metaphor because it accurately describes life and is relatable.
