A Student Athletes Life
You wake up.
Slowly rising from the warm bed with your eyes
glued shut, your body is aching
telling you to keep resting.
You force yourself to get in the shower
to wake up and start your day.
As you get out of the shower
your vision is back only to see fogginess and
the condensation all over the mirror.
You get dressed up already to go
still feeling the pain and the soreness in your legs and arms.
You dread the first two classes to only comeout
with a pile of work to do at the end of the school day.
Practice is long but it is the only place to clear your thoughts
and really focus on yourself then stressing yourself out with school work.
At the end of the day you are drowsy, sore, stomach growling, sweaty, and smelly.
All you want to do is shower, eat, and sleep.
You get done with all your work and its now midnight,
you finally lay in your bed but cannot sleep for awhile.
After spending ofhalf an hour screen time
you finally sleep, feeling relaxed and cozy.
Only to wake up to repeat your normal tiring routine the next day.
