SUMMER`S SMILE

The Sun beams happily,

Flowers awake, blooming fully,

Scents scatter with summer`s fragrance,

Ever so frequently, do bees visit

Tasting and bringing nectar to their beehive,

For us to take so freely,

There is no price,

For Summer`s smile,

Its healing rays or its heat,

So hot days have come,

To green the flower`s leaves

And to strengthen our belief.

White clouds do dot the blue sky

In many shapes,

One can lie down on the grass,

Looking with admiration at them

And feel tranquillity descend upon them,

In tunes of relaxation and freedom

Beauty shines in another light

When Summer comes,

All the blues, pinks, and yellows

Do dance in the light so vividly,

Glittering, gleaming, and glowing

In different ways-

Summer`s smile does awake

Every fallen creature,

Its amber eyes are fiery

Yet warm at the same time,

Not scorching, not long

Depends on one’s distance to it.
