The difference in her.

Comparing that girl to people her age

is like comparing a washed pair of glasses

To one cracked up, blanketed with resentment.

She shifts from every prickled paradigm 

to perspectives of pure awe. 

If those worthy don’t avoid the trap of the nefarious rules,

her energy surges over them.

She’s tainted with curiosity for a change.

Because she knows when one is clueless, 

the brutal price one pays.

So the spark that only seems to ignite in her eyes.

Induces a fire that continues to prick at the barren lies.

In the souls of people around her, 

which shows what surprises her the most.

That amongst the heaps of differences 

that keep her from the normal people in society,

There is one thing this girl has in common with these excruciating existences.

The girl would rather be alone in her spark,

then stagnant in the shade with a numbed heart.

So, for now,

It is a delight to glow. 

As quickly as she comes, she goes

And to everyone else,

She is simply,

a luminous and distinct blaze.
