I'm Dreaming
When I’m sleepy,
I wish your head on my arm
And your music in my ears,
Because light would be faint,
And words have nothing to say,
You’re at peace all in my space,
When it shudders,
I wish your hair in my eyes
And your smile on my face,
Because you’d be asleep,
And I’d be dreaming awake,
I’m home but miles away,
But I don’t need a reason
You’re there and that’s all to say,
And I don’t need to reason
To look out the window and pray,
I won’t move
Or push you away,
When the lights flick,
I want my heart in your hands
And in your precious mind,
I stay
