Stuck At Home

Isolation discloses

In the quiet  house; exposes

The problems outside

That can’t run and hide

News reports of a virus spreading

Gives me fear of what’s heading

Reports of death, infection

Warnings for washing hands; sections

Regarding safety and health

Stores are being ridden from their wealth

Stranded with remnants such as toilet paper

Dissipating as fast as vapor

Grayness blocks the sky and atmosphere

I remain as still as them; my phone clutched near.

My phone

Awaiting for the news and virus to roam

And disappear permanently

This is the best poem about covid I've read since.
