Summer Sunset
The warm sun sets on a July evening
The tops of the grass are dipped in gold
The sun is almost gone as it hides behind a tree
A canvas of orange and pink paint is displayed in the sky
The moon makes its arrival as it peeks over the horizon
Twinkling of stars begin to appear above
The night brings its cool breeze over the fields
The world is beginning to shut down as the evening falls
A deep purple now obtains the color of the sky
Slowly, the sun is finally gone, not to return until morning
