Sad, but true
Pain like a bullet-
Shot!...dead
Kids these days, these thoughts in their
heads
it's sad, but true, it's no story...
no lie
this generation has a hunger
a pain, a stride.
A reason to wake is a reason to live;
introverts hide, they had their chance and they hid.
now no one quite knows who they were as a kid.
Personalities changed, the hate they've exchanged,
this world has changed!
we used to have barbies and legos and toys
now guys play with gangs and girls play with boys.
It’s sad but true such potential, such pride
these dreams of being lawyers and doctors they died.
Wash spirits clean and feel the love,
put hands up,
feel hands from above;
it's never too late to choose the right path,
for if you don't your soul shall face thy rath.
Punished for those choices
Was it worth it In the end?
it's sad but true, and that is the end.
