Life as a Forgotten Piece

The cold gross floors

Stomp, stomp, stomp

Black tiny spaces

In shoes that stink

I'm confined for hours upon hours

The rigid concrete tears holes in me

I get lost in the bedsheets

The last thing to be grabbed from the bathroom floor

I'm left without a match often

Life is boring being a sock
