2020 Won
The year started like any other
with love and families that we able to come together.
They celebrated and cheered
into the New Year.
Everything seemed like it would be okay,
yet no one knew what was coming their way.
With the start of a new decade
life as we know it was going to begin to fade.
The day the world changed
was the day everything became deranged.
Nothing will ever be the same
as 2020 takes the blame.
First to come was the coronavirus
which began the 2020 crisis.
Having to constantly wear a mask
was causing life to become quite a task.
With the world in a craze
it only seemed right to take on the next phase.
With killer bees on the loose
it felt like time to call a truce.
Nothing could stop the wrath of this year
as the chant for black lives matter decided to interfere.
The rage between police and society continuously growing
is causing for the world to stop its constant flowing.
With the year coming to a close
I feel like the world is starting to decompose.
The final outcome is I am just done
I am taking an L on this year because 2020 won.
