The Noise of Silence
December 7, 2020
up at the top of the hill
you walk through the granite arch
you Hear the silence roll in
your mind rewinds time
you imagine the people that once walked this earth
your heart starts to hurt because so many people have died
but you can’t think of all the happy memories
over the Noise of silence
you walk back through the arch
you unclog your ears of the silence
then your senses come back Crisper
