tunes of lana
I dare not to ask where the rage in her subsides
with all those emotions
that she wears
Like a bracelet of melancholy,
But as dull as one would suppose it looks
It shines on her
Like a refined diamond.
It reminds me of her
A soul like an emerald
That time to time keeps cutting off
Parts of itself
Not realising that it's beauty is immeasurable.
But with every little slice she chooses to cut
She becomes a finer, sharper
Version of the herself
She becomes someone
Who withholds the sadness
That the universe dropped in her lap
And she becomes the raging storm
that walks during the course of an apocalypse.
She smiles to flowers
While silently humming to tunes of
lana telling her how
Hope is a dangerous thing.
her battle echoes
Within the dark paradise of
The absolute unknown
And I watch as so subtly
She reforms herself
Into the finest diamond
i had ever laid my eyes on

this piece was dedicated to one of my closest friends and it was a birthday presnet from me to her. i saw her struggle so much through hugh school and how she a very shy person, was as i describe a raging storm. she carried everyone's burdens with her and cared so deeply for everyone, that sometimes she lost herself in the chaos, i wrote this poem for her to realise how much of a powerful person she really is. the poem is titled tunes of lana because she and i are both big lana del rey fans are we feel so attached to lana del reys music.
