Revenge of Euthanasia
Labored breathing
His chest rising and falling
Unlike the body that lies
Below him
The gun
Still smoking
His arms
Still tingling from the aftershock
Rain splatters over the the two bodies
The blood still flowing
His heart bleeding
Whats left of
His life
The rain
pounding still
as he walks away
Thinking
He’s done
A favor
Oh the sweet taste of revenge
He comes home
To greet his family
Only to find them
Gone,
Outside
He runs
His face drawn
He runs
Only to find himself faced with the Truth
And bittersweet lies he spun himself
So artificially real
He believed it, himself
He runs for his life
Karma chasing him
To take it
He slips in a puddle
A puddle of blood
Shining red -- crimson in the yellow streetlight
Death has come for him
A euthanasia
He glances down at the puddle of blood
He looks down expecting to see
His reflection
But He only sees the
Devil
instead
