Door is Wide open
If you want to step inside
If you want to stay the night
My door is always open
Future always bright
Because I leave on all my lights
In the motel down the street
Hopes always low
Pain I never show
I wish that you could know
How bad I want you to stay
How bad I wish you were here
Insecurities sneaking in my door
Since I leave it open for you
You never show up
I always blow up
I try help the pain
But it doesn’t go away
And I am open to you
As much as it hurts
Honesty is brutal
Poison to the touch
Despite these drugs
The best medicine is you
But I overdose on these thoughts
Your medicine in my veins
I hope I don’t interrupt
When I’m screaming your name
And when I weep all alone
IT’s because I know
That you’ve opened your door to someone else
But I’m saying, I’ll always be here
With my open door
Always alone
Until you want me more
I’m dead when your gone
Alive when you’re here
But you never want me
Wish I could disappear
Some I’m writing this song
In hopes that you’ll hear
My door is always open
This door is always open for you
