My life consuming thoughts: 1:43
What do you do when you miss someone, but you’re not allowed to?
Not because anyone is telling you that you can’t.
But because you made a promise to yourself.
A promise that you’ll be ok.
That you won’t fall apart when they’re gone.
When they were around, you told yourself that you would be fine.
That when the day came, and they walked away.
That you would be able to walk away too.
But what do you do when you can’t get them off your mind?
You know they aren't thinking of you.
And it hurts.
But your brain is still flooded with memories and feelings of the past.
You’re hanging off a cliff.
And they are the only thing keeping you from falling.
But then they let go.
And you blame yourself for believing they wouldn’t let you slip.
