an ocean full of tears
As I sit outside my condo, I stare into the dark, cloudy night, my feet buried beneath the cool sand, and the wind soberly caresses every inch of my skin. My fingers glide through the tide, while my mind finally discovers peace. I close my eyes and embrace every sound. I hear the waves crashing like shattered plates, the wind crying as droplets of rain stream down like icy tears, and the palm trees dancing against the wind.
When i open my eyes, I feel an overwhelming sense of sorrow. My heart begins to pound faster and faster, my thoughts become untamed once more, and every ounce of despair unleashes itself. The sky holds up dark colored clouds above the restless waves, I sob into my hands as the rain pours down on me. Relentless winds speak to my soul. I found my peace tonight in complete chaos. The ocean sobs with me, our sorrow washes away in the oceans waves as we watch the sun rise through the dismal clouds.
Rays of sunshine break free from the prison the clouds held over the sun, I break free from captivity too, which was my own internal prison.
