Poppy, Oh Poppy
He is a man of the outdoors,
one with the trees and s’mores.
He was a part of the hippie movement
and is always looking for improvement.
He served for our country,
but then protected our city.
He is always busy as a bee,
and does whatever need be.
He is always on the go
and loves hot cocoa.
He is always woodworking
and deeply loves cooking.
He has always been there for me,
even when he did not have to be.
His pumpkin and apple pie
are always made just for me.
He always surprises me with desserts
And he always wears the same shirts.
He is one of my favorite people ever
And I will always love him forever.
