I want to talk about pride,
about being yourself,
without limitation,
without fright,
without pressure.
I want to talk about norms,
about women in the kitchen,
about men at work,
about kids getting A’s.
I want to talk about feminism,
always looked down upon,
always called crazy,
always losing friends,
I just want equal rights.
Society,
the issues that they hide,
that they don’t want us to see.
I say,
let's fight this battle,
once and for all.
