Noodle Shop

As we sit in the noodle shop,
Waitresses hurry by with drinks.
LEGO Ninjago plays,
On the TV behind us.
People are sitting at the bar,
Eating their orders already.
The waitress rush by again,
This time with platters of noodles.
Cooks in the background,
In the kitchen,
Cooking the noodles and the broth.
She sits across from me,
We’re both nervous.
But why?
We’ve known each other almost 2 years,
The waitress brings our noodles.
We eat.
