Once

Once there stood a sand castle
That towered tall and strong
The structure would never cower
It would be there through it all
For days on days it stood
For weeks on months it would
But once the sky did gray
And yes to our dismay
The once so-tall tower
Was finally washed away
Gone with the ocean blue
Into the depths to never return
