On Turning Ten

On Turning 10
I remember this year like it was yesterday
My little sister Charli was born
Just a couple months before my birthday
That year I moved into my new house
I got my own room
We had a pool to swim in
But had to take out the hot tub
I also made a new friend
She is a year younger than I am
We get along really well
We also live across the street from each other
