Time Forgotten
“Never backwards, always forward. Always.”
-Henry Hunter
I’ve heard that saying many times
I’ve come to understand it differently
Sometimes, it’s best to let go
Not to forget, but to be at peace with
And sometimes, that okay
But their are some things you can’t shut
Doors behind you that you can’t close
And we deal with it
We deal with it and live with it
Because it's okay to make mistakes
It's okay to become a different person
So, to everyone who deals with the past even now
I let you listen to these words,
“Sometimes backward to move forward. Always”
-Luke Cage

The inspiration behind this was forgiving and forgetting. Sometimes, it's harder to hold on than let go, so you take a step back, deal with it and finally let go.
