The black looked down on me with its twinkling

     Eyes,

As I ran through the dark night,

The man on the moon

With his light hue

Said my name

Before the break of day

Space has always excited me. There is so much beauty in the sky above us just waiting to be explored and studied. I hoped through this piece I would express just how gorgeous it is and how close it feels to me, even if it is so far away.
