I often enter an airplane

Fear entering like a rattling chain

For the end is unexpected

Including the pressure connected

Throughout

Condensed masses of unseen air

Clouding my ears; adding in as much pain as they can bear

I become temporarily deaf

Not able to hear a thing; my own voice remains left

In nowhere

Yet, as I try to release

The pressure; it refuses to cease

It’s pain, it’s ringing

Remaining stinging

As I glance down

Pops, hissings sound

Scaring me; yet the pain has found

Its release

With wings spread out, wheels low

The airplane pulls down; it commences a stroll

Towards the airport

Only some pain has been released; my ear remains jarred

By the noises the pressure has scarred
