The eight star
It's been four summers now
And oh my how it’s changed
Some of you sleep till noon
And no one plays in the rain
Cereal is no longer breakfast food
Everything is healthy P O R T I O N E D and organic
You don't go biking in the TALL grass
You are terrified of getting ticks
You got rid of you Barbie helmet
And replaced it with some shades
Now your laying on a towel tanning the summer away
Instead of getting wet and rolling around in the sand for days
Everyone has their own speakers
No more community radio
Summer days are still so long
But now you stay up late
Counting stars at midnight
Wishing I was there, but that start number eight
Was I looking
down below
