Age of Humans
We need to stop;
we have to think more
about ourselves, about each other.
We have to love more
believe more
live more.
Live because we have
the privilege of breathing.
We are falling apart
but our world has just begun.
We can’t let differences divide
what we were meant to combine.
We have to defend
what we all dreamt of.
Our wishes for
“World peace” mean nothing
if we don’t give it life.
We
have to make it happen.
When our time is over,
the age of humans,
and it will be over incredibly soon,
who will remember you?

Age of Humans is a poem I wrote to bring attention to climate issues and make people care about the future of our planet and our own futures simultaneously.
