I am the demon captivating my life
Fear takes hold like the sky grasps the sun.
My love is trapped behind bars of hate
I want to love.
I want to feel happiness and make it stay,
Stay my love, never leave in the sight of my despair
Anger holds me hostage like the pin-pricked doll on Satan’s dresser.
I shake until I vibrate.
Becoming a red heating pad,
Becoming the statue that won't stay still
No, I don’t want your money.
I failed to be the puppet you desire me to be.
God made me.
Satan claimed me.
Born in innocence and purity
Raised in death and disgust
I am disgust.
Devouring impatience like it’s candy
Candy is for babies
Babies are for God.
After the first three years, four becomes your sinful calling
Hear me calling.
Call back,
Or not.
But asking the wind, rain, and sun,
To help me.
