Oh How Beautiful

Oh how beautiful the sun is

the way it shines so brightly through those big wide windows

At that special time of day

The way it makes the carpet warm

Beneath your little toes so sensitive to the warmth

The warm feeling not only existent in your feet

But moving throughout your entire body

Oh how beautiful warm summer rain is

How it trickles down your golden skin

With a quick soft gust of warm wind

All together calming and fierce

You can't help but smile

Oh how exceptional it feels

As if you were to stay young forever

Hoping for that moment to never end

Oh how beautiful the giggle of a child

Like candy for the ears

So sweet and soft

Contagious for all those who hear

the innocence you yearn to possess again

To go back in time and be carefree

To laugh as such with a joy so luscious

Oh how beautiful the sound of cheering

The sound of triumph and unity

You won’t be stopped not this time

The sense of together so strong

Adrenaline pumping and confidence glowing

Oh how beautiful hugs are

The strong tight embrace

Of the loved one you want to hold so close

To never let go

Forever together with the love you share

So incredibly peaceful

So steady in their arms

Oh how beautiful conversation is

Full of many hopes and dreams

Hurts and sorrow

All with those who matter most

Sharing things that matter most to us

Short or long all meaningful

Oh how beautiful books are

The pages holding an escape

From our world

Into a whole new life

With a whole new person

Carrying different hopes and dreams

Different memories and scars

The roller coaster ride that is their life

Going on that journey with them

Oh how beautiful passion is

Driving us to success or failure

Offering us a love so strong

Compelling us to work hard

To go the extra mile

Striving to have, to do, to be

Oh how beautiful a sunrise is

The arorah of colors

Starting of a new day

Shunning the darkness that was

Turning to light and hope

All things waking into the day

Oh how beautiful the elderly are

Aged by many years

Having many days

Full of laughter and sorrow

Heartbreak and love

Mistakes and lessons learned

Possessing such a knowledge

That is scarce to the young

Oh how beautiful song is

So captivating in all

Sending chills down your spine

Words felt so deeply

Emotions so inexpressible

Only expressible through song

Bringing people together

Having one mindset inside

Used to worship and to express

To celebrate and educate

Oh how beautiful God’s faithfulness is

Never failing and never ending

Forever and ever it will extend

Till the end of my days

He is glorified

Because He is faithful and true

Always and always

Guaranteed to all of those who believe

Oh how beautiful struggle is

Although hard

Although painful

Through the struggle comes the relief

Through the rain comes the sun

Growth in life through it all

The struggle so hard

But the strength gained all the more

Oh how beautiful a baby animal is

So small and innocent

New life in the world

The start of a new season

Spring in full swing once again

Sweet and helpless and reliant

Oh how beautiful young love is

The excitement so present

Full of affection and admiration

The friendship that you want to last forever

The time spend together

So special and so intimate

Such a strong thing

So painful but worth it

Oh how beautiful the ocean is

So calm and roaring all in one

Popular among many

Attractive and calming

Sound and smell and taste

So distinct so altogether captivating

Oh how beautiful green is

So vibrant and so soft

Grass and leaves all sharing

Different but the same

Different hues and shades

Catching the eye

Showing health and energy

And bringing on tranquility all together

Oh how beautiful flowers are

The smell so strong or suddle

The color so vibrant or so dull

So different all are

What a blessing to the eyes they are

Placed all over

Having many purposes

To welcome, to invite, and to show love
