Time
Time has seen it all
The high, the rush, the fall
Love, passion, despair, brokenness
Trust, faith, anger, hopelessness
Time is ever changing
Upon its shoulders we place our blaming
For regrets mistakes, chances, fate
It hastens forward without regard for whom it will take
Nor any consideration of whom it may break
You can never gain it back once it is lost
We go about our lives never realizing the cost
But life is only so long and the days are numbered
So hold onto to your life before reaching eternal slumber
