Rain
Rain rain go away, come again another day.
Her ocean eyes could swallow me in like an angry wave.
Her beaming smile flashed brighter than a strike of lightning.
Her angelic voice was enough to give me chills like thunder in the middle of the night.
Her presence was as serene as the calm before the storm.
Her rejection was as hurtful as a young child's newly finished sandcastle being washed away by the rising tide.
My emotions rushed to me in overwhelming fashion like a flash flood wiping away a once happy community.
A single tear dropped down my face like the first drop of the rain.
Rain rain go away, don’t come back another day.
