Moving On
Without you, I don’t feel so whole
Searching for ways to try and let you go
I fought for ways to try and get you to stay
But all you did was leave the next day
I threw all my hope and dreams away for you
And yet I’m still here waiting for you
Maybe our love was hopeless from the start
Maybe we were lost in a daydream
Or maybe it was just me
So alone, my heart is shattered
All is gone, that ever mattered
Thinking back to all the sweet memories
Want you here back with me
Some days I can’t stop thinking about you
And others
I wonder why I waste my time
You weren’t the one for me
And I finally realized that now
I was always enough
You couldn’t handle that
I was always too much
