Feed The Wolf You Want To Win
There are two wolves in us all
Trying to be the other’s downfall.
It’s a story you’ve heard before,
The one you feed more
Grows stronger and wins,
Which results in goodness or sins.
But depression requires a different point of view.
The good wolf gets its food from you,
But the bad one can hunt,
Making the good wolf the runt.
The bad wolf is as tough as stone,
Your good wolf can’t win on its own.
You must become the good wolf yourself,
Meaning you’ll rely on other people’s help.
Now fighting the bad wolf means rolling the dice.
Your wounds and tears aren’t just a vice,
You could very well wind up dead,
But you might just come out ahead.

For those of you who haven't heard, there's an old story where a man tells his son that there are two wolves within him and everyone, a good wolf and a bad wolf. The boy asks, "Which one will win?" and the man replies "the one you feed."
