Teenage Heartthrob

I am thinkful for the upcoming nostalgia
of me and my teenage heartthrob.
Unrealistic senerios fill my mind,
the ones where you're turning away from me.
But for now, I calmly rest beside you.
I am more than comfortable,
right now, I am content.
You continue to feed my confidence
and to help me grow.
You offer teh best kind of companionship
and allow new adventures to undergo.
I am thankful for the days we have
and the memories that we continue to make.
I will hold tightly on to them for as long as they last.
