With You
Cuts to deep for a band-aid solution
Seem to disappear when I’m with you
And you laugh when I tell you like it’s amusing
It’s a New Year I need a resolution
Moments I tend to cherish
Do you feel the same
Or is it only the chemicals in my brain
When I’m with you it’s a different feeling, nothing I can explain
Dopamine and serotonin
Two chemicals that make me feel some type of way
I’m crazy about you it must be the serotonin that makes me go insane
Would I call it love I don’t know
But with you I feel like I can do anything
And there is no place I would rather be
Than right here
With you.

This piece speaks to a lot of things in relationships of our generation, because love is still a very vague topic even to adults.
