Gratitude
I’m not where I want to be
Right now with stress and tests a mess
Yet I stop and ponder
I can breathe and move I can think with reason and logic
I have a house with food
I have a computer and video games
I can read and write
I can plan out my day, sometimes my week
I’m not worried about tomorrow
I’m not fighting on the frontlines
I’m not sleeping on a park bench
I have a good head on my shoulders and I know everything will be fine
