Idigestion
Butterflies on Butterflies
Breathing fire in my eyes.
Foxes in a basket.
Makes me quite stealthy.
To the sound of an axe
Beating
To the Beat of a drum
Catch these Butterflies
On my tongue.
Butterflies on Butterflies
This forrest burns
Around me.
My foxes and I
Remain untouched
For we are too sly
Won’t tell you the whole story
But you'll never see us
Lie.
Hold these butterflies
In my mouth.
Butterflies on Butterflies
Can’t speak
Lump in my throat
The foxes speak for me.
I Can’t Speak
To You
Feel these Butterflies
In my esophagus.
Butterflies on Butterflies
Breathing fire inside
Making my blood boil
Making my skin turn red
My words fumble
My knees crumble
My mind breaks
My spirit quakes
The foxes leave me
In the open
I’m, All, Alone,
In the flames
Alone in this fiery
Place
I try to murder
The red on my
Face
Absolutely
Overwhelmed by these Butterflies
Deep in my
stomach.
