The morning was fresh.
The sun shined at its best.
And dew sparkled off The Nest.
The droplets of dew stood still.
Like a cat sitting at a window sill.
The quiet nest no one wanted to fill.
This nest you see was not up in a tree.
Nor under a roof with honey flowing free.
Not even on the ground with a huge colony.
The nest was designed by someone very smart.
So exquisite their home is considered to be an art.
Their prey comes in freely but sadly it cannot depart.
Now you might wonder who uses this nest to lay their eggs.
Coming in different shapes and sizes, but all have eight legs.
The dew sparkled off the nest because this was a spiders web.
