We Danced
He took my hand
We danced in the rain
I kissed his cheek
He ran
Out of breath, I come after him
I have so many questions
I know he won’t answer them
I took his hand
We danced in the rain
In an attempt to free his mind
We had nowhere to be
We had no one to see
In his eyes the rain reflects
I wonder where he is right now
Because he isn’t with me

I wrote “Desperate for You” from looking at a picture for associative writing . Subconsciously I wrote it about a guy, and someone told him that it was about him. It started off bad, but he likes it now so why not put it in my poetry portfolio.
